Asia Hogan-Rochester is a professional rugby sevens athlete and Olympian who has represented Team Canada on the world stage with unwavering fire and resilience. Born and raised in Toronto, Asia’s athletic journey began in track and transitioned into rugby, where she quickly emerged as one of Canada’s most electrifying players.
Asia made her debut with the Canada Women’s Sevens Team in 2019 and has since become known for her explosive speed, fearlessness in contact, and ability to shift the game’s momentum in key moments. She has won gold at the Pan American Games and brought home a historic silver medal from the 2024 Paris Olympics.
But it’s not just her performance that commands attention—Asia brings her full self to the pitch every time, unapologetically and in full sparkle. Whether it’s glitter on her face or her hair laid and styled to perfection, she proves that power and femininity can coexist—and dominate—on the world stage.
Beyond the pitch, Asia is deeply committed to building up the next generation. She mentors youth in underserved communities and advocates for sport accessibility, self-worth, and breaking barriers for women of color in rugby and beyond.
